PUNK ROCK BINGO PRESS RELEASE
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE LAS VEGAS, July 17, 2003 -- Big Lizard Records is proud to announce the debut of PUNK ROCK BINGO on Monday, AUGUST 4TH, 2003 at the DOUBLE DOWN SALOON. During this special edition of the BARGAIN DJ COLLECTIVE'S regular Monday night gig "BRANDED" five rounds of Bingo will be called while the BARGAIN DJ COLLECTIVE spins the tunes that you aren't going to hear any place else. The games will range from simple Bingo to special patterns like "X-rated," the "Lucky L" and "Blackout." Those fortunate enough to get to shout "Bingo!" will have a plethora of funky-fabulous prizes ceremoniously bestowed upon them. A recent visit by the Houston, Texas lounge kings The El Orbits (who have made Bingo a part of their shows since 1997) provided the inspiration and proved that punks love Bingo just as much as Pabst Blue Ribbon and cigarettes.
