is no more
(thanks to the Gaming Control Board)

For almost a year the first Monday of every month was Punk Rock Bingo Night at the Vegas' finest dive bar, the Double Down Saloon. It was fun while it lasted; check out photos of our winners in the Punk Rock Bingo Hall of Fame.

The cancelation of Punk Rock Bingo makes the news in two of the three Las Vegas weekly papers!

A June 2003 visit by the Houston, Texas lounge kings and intergalactic Bingo hosts The El Orbits (who have made Bingo a part of their shows since 1997) provided the inspiration, and proved that punks love Bingo just as much as Pabst Blue Ribbon and cigarettes. Thanks to everyone who has come by and played with us, I hope you had as much fun as we did!

Sponsors and supporters of Punk Rock Bingo include BowlingShirt.com, ID Lubricants, Benway Records, Hollywood Book & Poster, Smash Magazine, Poizen Ideas, SinCitySounds.com, Big Lizard Records and of course, the Double Down Saloon.

BINGO TRIVIA

Edwin Lowe the originator of the game "Lowe's Bingo" sought the services of a math professor at Columbia University, Carl Leffler, to expand the amount of number combinations. In 1930, Professor Leffler devised 6,000 bingo cards with non-repeating number groups. It was said that he completed the task successfully, and then went insane.

Calculating the total number of possible combinations there are 552,446,474,061,129,000,000,000,000 possible Bingo Cards, 4,976,640,000 of which would have the same twenty four numbers, but in a different arrangement.
